    Here is another from Nishijin manufactured in 1955. The grooved silver thing is a ball shovel which "counts" the glass balls. Is it Pinball? Is it Pachinko? Is it cool?

    id say pachinko looks to be a vertical mounted machine (the chutes also confirm this) and since the cabinet has no slant to it it cant be a horizontal machine so yes its a pachinko .....

    I think that because of the plunger that this would have been played horizontally with a slant to the table.

    Here are some more pictures of the same game, but from a different seller. It appears to be made by Nishijin and is 48cm x 83cm x 42 cm high. For Metric challenged folks that works out to just under 19" x 33" x 17" high.
