    Default Your Favorite Machine?

So this is probably an often asked question but... I'm looking to buy my first modern machine. I'm looking around and see many themes I like. I'm seeing so many I like that I can't make up my mind. So please, please, please help :

What is your favorite machine and why is it your #1 fave?

I agree - the Theme is very important - If you are a Star Wars fan I would recommend that one as a must have!

If you quite fancy the Pinball connection - then Julie the Pinball is the one............

There are some nice Machines around at the moment - I would check out the Museum here if you have not already done so - that may help you make up your mind - you will need to register - use your same log-in detals as for here.....

But as every Pachinko Addict knows - there can never be only one!!!

    oh and....................

    Welcome to Pachitalk

Yes you have to pick a theme that you like, For instance my top machines are Top Gun, Spiderman (old and new), Deka Inca, and Lassen World.
Now only a handful of people would probably like the Lassen World, I think it is the best looking machine I have, but the theme is not something that alot of people would enjoy. My daughter (got it for her bday) and I both love Lassen's art work so it appeals to us.
SO pick a theme you like, make a list of your top favorites, then when you find one on your list for a price you like, grab it.

There are a lot of wonderful machines. Mine would be a not so new one, Penguin (2002). It was designed to keep you moving through the board. So many things to keep track of and to watch for in order to max your winnings. It truly is a game of skill not luck, which is why I love it so much.

Don't worry about what I like, I barely even know. Rather What do you like? Let me rephrase the question:

If you were to go play your favorite machine right now, what would it be and why?

There are multiple answers for this really.
Top Gun- because I like the movie and airplanes, plus the music is cool.
Spiderman (both of them)- Because I am a comic book geek (I have Batman also for the same reason)
Deka Inca - Because it's dark and kinda scary at times (I love halloween)
Lassen World- because I love C.R.Lassen's art work and to see it moving in video instead of just a static picture is amazing.

There a many reasons to get a certain theme.
What are your hobbies, what kind of books do you read, movies you like. Tell us some of these things and we might steer you to the machine that is made for you.

I love my Thunderzone. In fact, I have a couple brief videos in my journal (link below).

Fever Big Powerful - (my first) pictures can be found in the museum.
Sign up for the museum using your same login name and password.
You'll get an e-mail with the link to activate your account there.

Pumpking - a very fun Halloween type machine, also can be seen in the museum.

None of mine are the super-fancy LCD models.
Check my member page here or...

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

My definite #1 favorite is Rocky. This machine has it all, Lights, Video and sound. It can't be beat especially for a Rocky fan.
I also like my Top Gun, but if I had to choose it would be Rocky.

Of the pachinkos I have left here... I'd say Pink Panther, because... sorry... "I like the theme".
It's a toon that I grew up with, and still enjoy watching with my grandson on Boomerang channel.

    Hmmmm....

I've convinced me... it's no longer for sale.

But there are MANY others that are just as much fun.

Why not go with a Bruce Lee? Isn't that your avatar? You must like that theme.

If I had to choose only one machine then it would be my vintage Nishijin.

If I were going to save only a single machine I, as Eric said, would choose to keep my vintage.

That said, I don't think that was the question asked.
