pachi tokens for Vegas machine

Hello my fellow pachimen, I have a question regarding pachislo tokens.... does pachislo tokens will work on Las Vegas slot machines?

I havent tried but I will put a token in my Haywire comparitor and see if it will work.

quarters are smaller than pachi tokens. if you have a comparitor it should be no problem(checks size and magnetic qualities against a coin inseted in the compairitor)

I dunno about pachi tokens going in vegas machines, but I have 4 river boat casino slot machine tokens that work just fine in my pachis...

h2o thats the coin comparitor, it checks size and magnitic response of sample coin and allows the same to pass. just tried it on my e-2000 bally and they work fine. mine is originally a quarter machine so there is no problem with the ductwork size. i would think that .10 .50 and $1.00 would be a problem though without a conversion to .25 hardware.

This did not work well on my American Red, White, and Blue which I tried to run on tokens. Jammed the machine. Tokens are not the same size as quarters, and vary in the material. Although some tokens worked OK others that looked the same would not be recognized and other jammed. You would definately have to use all the same tokens to have it work. At least on my American slot.

the hopper wheel slots have to be the right size as well. If you want to get paid out.

hey scoob as long as you use the better heavyier silver token and all are identical type it shouldnt be a problem i just converted the sunset 7's machine i have over to tokens and it runs fine it has a comparitor also and as long as the tokens are identical they should work ok the only tokens i ran into a problem with are those copper colored light weight ones they jammed easy due to the soft metal their made out of .....

I just had the time to test tokens in my American Slot Machine, IGTs Haywire. I used the only tokens I had available to me Stealth Home Amusements Gold tokens I bought them new so they are spotless and all uniform. I Placed one in the coin comparitor and voila they worked perfectly well from insertion to payout from the hopper.
You can see in the pics the token in the CC and where they landed in the hopper and you can see their credits registered in the coins accepted meter. Of course quarters fall right through the machine into the coin tray. I used around 100 tokens untill the hopper began to pay them out just to see if that would work as well and it did.
I will try with tokens from my apt when I get a chance I have a large mix sliver,silver gold combos etc

I forgot to post the mixed coin token results! I have been way to busy, anyway...................
I grabbed about 70 tokens all used and mixed from different parlors and tried them in the Haywire and they all worked fine. So I guess you wont have any problems converting your Slot machines from coins to TOKENS. I put the quarter back in the comparitor and all is back to normal no problems at all.

Oh yeah ..My comparitor and hopper are EXTREMELY clean like factory new that may help ...just a thought.
