I am not talking down to anyone here I am only pointing out human nature as I see it. This is only my opinion.
I think what we are interpreting here is the connotation of the cliché', If I asked most people to use the word in a sentence I bet 90+% would use
"aesthetically pleasing" Another grammatically correct sentence is “The building is aesthetically uninspiring, but it is well built.”
I would tend to use the term to describe an inanimate object since the term tends to objectify what your describing.
    Disclaimer:
I am not an English teacher I only have been using English for my primary language for about 40 years.

as a buisiness name I believe you are capitalizing on the positive conotation of the cliche.
I have been trying to name my side line as well and I hate it, nothing sounds right, nothing is descriptive and memorable.
Could we open up this discussion to include possible good buisiness names?
    Cheers,

Things are changing and it may be of more importance to be considering what and how the public may see in this name. I have to go to work, more at a later time.
I don't think you will get many jobs painting churches.
Who would hire a painter to paint a church that doesn't believe in God.

Laz, it sounds like you paint hospitals and Dr.'s offices.

Top Notch-High Grade-Quality-or something similar would sound better.

My boss had said once that some painters would have there name start with an A so that it came up first in the telephone directory. I realize that with the INTERNET less make use of a phone book but I figured it can't hurt. I tried to find something that to me held an idea of looks and quality as well as it not hurting to start with an A. It looks like I may need to start thinking of something else. :sigh1: Don't mind some help. I guess the starting with an A can be disqualified. I could always call it Pachitalk Painting, but I think I would get a big :questionm

The years we were first in our catigory in the phone book we definaty got moro calls...

...At least we were called first.....well thats what I have to assume anyway, because of all the products people would ask for that weren't mentioned in our ad but were clearly listed in ads further down the list...
