Wanted Pachislo for modding

I'm looking for a cheap Pachislo to mod. I would like something semi-newer. It could have the guts removed or something just scratched up bad. I need it dirt cheap. I'm starting a new project, sort of a casino Mame cabinet. I hope this is the forum to post this. Thanks for any leads.

I've been looking on Ebay for awhile and have not found anything thats really cheap. I plan on gutting the machine, so all I really need is the case intact.

I would think Milt would have more than a few, also Gaku (where I got mine for this same purpose), but shipping will be a bit more. Got a Gamera without the power supply, reels, or control boards. Figure to remove the screen and replace it with a 15" LCD, using the buttons and stick for a 'Pachinko Sexy Reaction' mame unit. Then power the leds and lights to flash in patterns. Now just to find the time......

I actually emailed Milt, the best he could do was $80 shipping included. But the machine was really old. How much did you pay for the Gamera. I plan on doing almost the same thing you stated. I will take apart an old computer to put inside. I've also located a 15" touchscreen LCD for $196 shipping included. I plan on making a multi slot, poker, jukebox machine.

The LCD I have is a nice touchscreen unit too. It's been a while since I got that one from Gaku (picked it up on my way thru, saved shipping), I don't know what he'd sell one for now. He has more than a few with bad computers or bad LCDs (Gamera is known for that), the best I can say is write him and ask.

Well I contacted Gaku by email, He said sorry no scratch and dent machines right now. He must work late nights, because everytime that I have emailed him he responds within a half hour or so. I'm usually up late working on my graphics business. Looks like I may buy a machine from RKnarr01. One thing with his two machines is they are both still in good shape. I would hate to destroy a good working machine. Anybody else have a dirt cheap machine they want to get rid of. Heck you wouldn't even need to insure it for shipping. I'm just using it for the cabinet. I know its hard to get rid of your Million Gods!

nice business opportunity for someone with the knowledge to repair them to bad its over in Ohio or id jump right on that deal .......cost to much in tolls alone to fire up the bus for that trip ..........

I saw that listing on Ebay, I think the person for that auction is a new member here. He pmed me about the Pachis, but never got back to me. I recently purchased a Parts Aladdin Pachi from Milt. It was $80 shipped. Its in great condition, I told him I didn't need the guts. Milts a good person to work with on parts and machines. I've bought three machines from him so far and had nothing but good results.

What do you have? shipping should be less weight, or I know a driver in the area on occasion.

Here are the begining modding pics of my Aladdin Pachislo. I've been stripping out everything I don't need, to make room for all goodies I bought.
List of goodies going into it:
1. 17"Touch screen Monitor
2. Compaq Evo small form computer
3. Computer power supply for lights (Using Cold Cathodes)
4. Power strip
5. Various PC casino games, Jukebox software
6. 2.1 surround speakers with sub
This is going to be a monster of a slot machine, I can't wait to design the graphics!

Thats a good looking cabinet. A nice clean start.

I stripped all of the decals off, nice shiny fake chrome under the decals.
I had to pay $80.00 for it from Milt, its in very good shape for a parts machine.

Wow that is quite alot for a non working machine, it is a nice cabinet though. I know it is worth it to you thats all that matters. If you do another (or several) Dave can hook you up with nice clean cases.

I was offered a working machine for the same price, but was unable to bring myself to destroy a defenceless Pachi. Machines have feelings too!
