Don Don King Problem

I have a Don Don King that works fine except when you try to use the stop buttons right to left.

If you hit the stop buttons right to left the machine will always stop on Bell - Bell - Replay right to left. If you hit the center button then hit the right button then the left button it also stops Bell-Bell-Replay right to left.

If you hit the buttons left to right it will come at random.

Is this normal for this machine, my other machines will hit random with any combination of button stops.

When I hit a jackpot the right to left combination works fine.

I just tested my DDK and it did NOT do that. It seemed to be pretty much random as always. Perhaps, it has to do with the skill level your machine is set on? Mine is set at 3. Might be something to try changing?

Are you in some kind of bonus round or assist round where you should be stopping the reels in a certin order????

My King Camel does that. Stopping either the centre or right reel first results in ??? - bell - bell across the top winline, unless the machine wants to force a win. It will also cancel any character animation on the screen as well.

I think this behaviour is also evident in one of Tony's KC videos at one point...

both of mine seem to have a pattern when stopping rt to lt. both are different but consistent. learn it it , will come in handy for the bonus rnds to avoid a jac-in.

this is a quirk of the don-don king machine do not adjust your set you have entered the twilight zone.....no really its quite normal when stopped from right to left or center first and is a asset in the bonus rounds to avoids jac-in's i think it was gaku's players guide that pointed it out to me when i first bought the machine .

Thanks for the info. Jeff. It really dons't bother me that much, but I have watched other people play it time and time again right to left and hit the same bell-bell-replay, but keep on playing the same way.

I guess it is like the old definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
