    Default Apollo Pachinko on Ebay

I've searched some of the past reviews and in the museum. Those that still have it, what do you still think about it with the different pachinkos that you have now? Still fun?
Also, on the one on Ebay, around the pins on the enlarged picture #1, left hand side, there are circles around the upper pins. Is that just dirt or is the playfield worn in front of the pins?

    Thanks for all your help!

Looks like water damage to me.. at least it's similar to the water damage on 1 of my vintage ones..
Folks put these out in the garage, or at outdoor fairs, etc.. and the condensation just kills the playfields

Looks more like dirt to me. Water leave a multi circular pattern around a single pin. This looks too uniform to me to be water.

Looks more like a shadow caused by the flash of the camera to me, going through and reflecting off of 2 panes of glass.
Panchinko is an importer, so the odds of the machine being in the garage or at an outdoor fair are pretty nil.
I am expecting a machine from them on Wed.
They have gotten very good reviews from many members on here.

I bet that machine is in really nice condition! If not Pachinko will set it right.

Another thing to keep in mind is that most of the larger vendors just recycle their pictures so you probably aren't getting the one pictured in the ebay ad.

Thumbs up Re: Apollo Pachinko on Ebay

    F45 ...
It's a great machine even after playing the video models for years. Keep in mind that the gameplay is different from most other machines. Instead of firing balls constantly, this machine fires 16, stops and then resets the sub-game. BUT because of the different style of gameplay there are many more ways to win extra balls. The fever round is entered by first hitting a set pocket (#1) to get the center feature (3 digit slot style reel) to match all 3 digits. A center tulip then opens for a ball to enter and drop into the space ship. Next drop a ball into pocket #3 and keep shooting them there. You will love this machine.
The only negative I can think of is the amazingly loud sound. Get volume controlls quickly for the sake of your ears.

BUT... 1000 balls vs. only 400 balls from TA.

    Interesting, though...
Is TA finally starting to see the light, and be a little more competitive on price?
    Gotta love competition.

Not a bad price.. a penny a ball. Cheapest I've seen.

The TA write up sure is in-depth! Gotta love the info on the real Apollo launch.

I've always liked the looks of this one.

Of course, the machine has NOTHING to do with Apollo XIII...
But bullshi... er... creative advertising seems to consume some vendors.

Makes you wonder just how accurate the REST of the description is, eh?

But TA's ads ARE better than any other ad.
If you don't beleive me, just read the top of each ad, or ask them.

Agreed, Pachinko is a great seller, I just got mine from them yesterday, VERY happy with it. I missed the fact that it was one of their auctions, hope everything works out ok!

I'm expecting no problems, and if there is then, according to others, it should be taken care of quickly. We'll know by this time tomorrow.

From my experience, TA stands behind their product and will do the right thing if there is any trouble.

I got it from panchinko, not TA.
From what I am hearing, the customer service from panchinko is better than TA's.

TA has discounted this group as a whole and disrespected this site on more than one occasion to more than one person I know. We save them and all the other vendors a great deal in tech support as most who purchase will find their way here and get their questions answered and problems solved very quickly.

To have them hold us in the disdain they do is something I cannot abide and I will not support their sales efforts in any fashion.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Well, I was trying to say something like that.... I just worded it a little different.
I had kinda forgotten about the snubbings. I knew there was a reason I didn't look at their auctions anymore.
