Wanting to purchase a vintage pachinko machine for my son for Christmas! I had one growing up and would like my son to enjoy playing as well... maybe think about a modern pachinko as well. the added bells and whistles and variety of themes could interest your son more.

This machine is nice it has the second hopper in the back for lost balls, no reach around required. an occasioal ball will fall out the back but most are held for payout. http://cgi.ebay.com/PACHINKO-PINBALL...QQcmdZViewItem

You would expect ebay to do alot of things. When I had their selling manager pro, they put things paid with paypal from paid and ready to ship, to paid and shipped, this went on a couple weeks, they knew of the issue and did nothing to notify sellers, alot of us lost our ebay business's. Other then getting their fees, dont expect much from them.
