Default low dough semi cyclic mod, the paint roller tray

Ok I just recieved my newest Pachinko the magic carpet girl and was looking around for a container to catch the balls. I remebered I thikn Luck Dog suggested using a paint roller tray, So I happened to have on in the shop so I blocked up the pachi high enough to slide the tray under it. I shot a few and after the ringing in my ears died down I went looking for a sound deadenercause boy that tin pan is loud. I had a scrap left over from the last ball tray and 2 quick cuts and poped it in the bottom, Bingo works likea ckamp, and with it tucked back I can't hardly tell its a roller tray. instant semicyclic mod!

You can always get plastic rollertrays they should be quieter and they come in all colors.

I knew it was a good idea the tray I was looking at was black plastic.

I would move the pachinko about another 4 inches away from the wall, so less tray showed.

These trays are available at the dollar stores and thanks for the hints, the rubber pad is dense and makes it quiet as can be! I will pick up a new one today and paint it to match the case, Chevy hugger orange. It is not attached to the blocks, it is leaning againts the wall now. this is a workng test model. I will attach feet tonight and move onto the stand I made for it Wednesday.

This is one of those so-simple brilliant ideas that make you say, "Now why didn't I think of that!"

We kicked it around I am the tinkerer who will actually go and do it!
update: I left the pics at home but I painted a new tray Tangerine to match the case, I put it on a narrow 'sofa table' stand, and when I pushed it back the legs fell off of back. so a reall narrow stand is a slight problem, I fixed that by putting flat sheet metal under legs to extend back into the stand. a quick tack weld and I was done. could have used tape or epoxy to hold also.
the stand is only 12" deep so it is kinda small.

I had that poster in my college room, my wife hates it, it reminds me of an old girl friend, the kind I am glad to be rid of.
