I seriously do own a stretch of swamp land, I love it! it discourages tresspassers.
I have about 15 dry acres also.

No crocogators, wildest scariest thing there is me, and an occasional blue racer with an attitude.
I could drop about anything in the middle and never have to see it again. Jeff I never tried my wife, I did bury my quad once.
We were duck hunting and the dog tried to walk around to lumps, bad move its about 9 feet of mud.
We can walk out on the matt of reeds, it looks like a lumpy field but if I jump up and down we can tell we are actually floating. step between and someone is getting a good soaking.

Thats what the DEQ calls it too, problem is they call a little too much wetlands.
We bought ours from a developer, so I think I am doing my part by preserving our stretch.
