Volume control! I know!!!

I know that this post has been posted endless times, but I am stuck.
Being an American based site, I can't find any English based stockists of volume controls!

All I am looking for is a few vloume controls, I already have a thunderbirds with them fitted (not by me), so I know how to fit them, but not where to buy the bits from(in England, UK!).

I am so sorry for posting this, It must be really tiring to answer, but I am stuck!!

well since you are buying your machine from steve.. why dont you ask him to install volume controls for you.. I believe he does this for a nominal fee...



easier then you looking for the controls and mucking about with them..

Steve has in the past installed Volume Controls for free - just ask nicely when ordering your Machine(s)

In fact on one occasion he also sent me an extra set for a another machine!

Now I don't know if this had something to do with me having a Blaster?

Im in the UK also, however Arby recently recommended this $15 volume kit -

Its a US company, but it was only $ shipping to the UK, so only $21 in all, and I recieved it in about 4 days!

I ordered the 5 piece kit, and it was dead easy to fit! You fit one to each speaker lead.

Incidentally, I need one more of these conrols (does anyone in the UK have one they would like to sell me, to save me buying 5 pieces from the US when I only need one)..

Thanks for all your help, but i can't do any of these:
1. I can't really ask Steve for reasons I can't explain
2. The machines should be here by wednesday so buying from America is not an option. I have wires, i know how to fil them, all i need is the resistor that I can adjust!

Maplin sell them, £1.38 each IIRC.

or about 50p each online from rapid electronics.
