Neat little MP3 player

Can't remember what I was originally looking for and found these:

Only $4.95 each.

Holds 16meg (4-5 songs or 16+ minutes of audio). Comes with lanyard w/integral headphones, battery (AAA), plastic pouch to keep it all in. Buttons for On/Off/Play/Pause, Previous Song/Volume+, Next Song/Volume-. On a Windows machine (no groans from the Mac crowd please!) it's recognised as a flash drive. Just pull it apart, plug it into a USB port, copy up to 16 meg of songs to it, then put it back together!

I bought 5, figured if I ever get the 'parlor' thing up, they'd make good 'prizes'. Loaded one with the 3 different bonus 'songs' from Neo Powerful and it works great. Next to come up with little logos.

I think these were trade show giveaways originally, when they're plugged in, the name of the drive comes up 'Cingular'!

It's recognized as a drive, I assume you can put anything on it.

Watch out for shipping... you need to buy several to overcome the $9.48 shipping charge on one.

too bad these don't hold more. nice price. I could leave one in the motorcycle and one in the Olds. I have headphone aux in for adding in MP3 player.

I usually buy other things at the same time to make the shipping worthwhile. I got 5 of these, 6 IDC 25pin connectors (3 male, 3 female) for the card reader connectors. I've gotten a couple power supplies from these people too (2KVA Variac for one).

Any geek gadgeteer can't help but find a few things on this site.
