Default Vintage Daiichi semi cyclic mod 15 min.

I was inspired by reading the posts on the semi-cyclic conversion and took a look at my not so favorite old Daiichi that had the bucket in back for lost balls, had to reach round and get the bucket, used way too many balls,
This conversion was so easy, the lost ball chute ran next to the bottom tray chute. I didn't even have to disassemble a thing!, I drilled through both chutes with the proper size forstners bit, squared the corners with a knife and hotmelt glue an angled lexan plate to divert balls into the tray chute. done! Now I need to do the same with the single pocket/tulip return chute and no more balls behind the machine.
the first pic the red line is highlighting the lexan plate I glued in to divert the balls into the hole I made between the two chutes.
the second picture is a shot up the chute from the bottom, sorry I had it full of spheres and took a blind shot. without laying it down.
third red is the hole saw outline the blue is the square up with a knife to keep balls from loitering.
last is a shot of the feet I am testing, the base is water damaged and I was replicating the wire stands I saw on some auctions.
I also stuck a cheap light on it to test. I will mount it like the picture frame light maybe.

    Nice job!
I've noticed that the older the machine the easier it is to semicyclic it. As the machines get newer and more complicated one has to do a little more cutting and ramping.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

The wife gave me the glue gun, it was a piece! I tossed it I had to hold the pieces in place and push in the glue with my teeth, not pretty. with decent tools this would have gone better.
I was going to tackle to bow wow, but ugh too much to remove just to see the ball track. I probaby will build a box to sit the newer ones on and have ramps redirect the balls to the front, this way I can swap out machines and not do surgury .

If you make a platform or frame to raise the pachinko up about 4 inches, you can slid a ball tray in from the front to catch the fired balls.

My idea is for a simple frame, a 1 inch by 8 inch about 36 inches long mounted to each side of the frame. flush at the top.

and a 1 inch by 4 inch about 12 inches long standing on its edge mounted on the inside of the 1 by 8 on each side.

If I ever get around to making one, I'll post pictures, But, I am a wood butcher

    and I can't draw either
