    Default rewired with inline fuse.

I replaced the 2 foot cheap non polarity power cord with 6' 3 prong line cord and grounded to the transformer frame and added inline 4a fuse.

Might have forgotten originally but put the fuse in the hot or black line the hot wire of the 3 prong cord is the shorty, and will be black if cord has the black, white, and green wires. if not color coded use continuity tester to check what wire is connected to the small blade. Check your house outlet wiring for correct connections with a 120v/220v tester the simple arc light one. put one end in the rounded connector first it is the one everyone breaks off to jamb into an old outlet, then touch other end into the small slot ,it should glow, if the long slot glows, swap black and white leads on the house outlet.
Normally AC current it makes no differance but if a short happens we want the current from the hot wire to the ground to blow the fuse. if the fuse is in the white line the fuse will not have current and it will not protect you.

Good point I need to go back and make sure I have a connection from the frame ribbon to the transformer, these are wood frames!

I have been informed by a very good source that pachinkos are sensitive to static electricity and since it is pretty much a hands on type machine that the ground wire should be hooked up. Now I know that there are 1000's of pachinkos out there that are working fine and not grounded but that doesn't mean it ain't so, it just means there are 1000s of lucky people. This mod makes it easy to ground your machine. Most transformers I've seen have only the 2 wire cord attached to them.
Pachislos: Alien, Azteca Returns, Death Valley, Guts, Gamera HGV, Hokuto No Ken, Jet Set Radio, Mephisto, Oasis, Speed Racer, Surprise, Twenty Seven, Thunderbirds, Wild Wolf
Pachinkos: Blooming Field, Casino, Freddy vs Jason, Horror Mansion, Indiana Jones, Julie, Lucky Boat of Seven God, Popeye, Spiderman
