    Default Two of a kind

Just curious. How many of you liked a pachinko so much that you bought a second one (same machine) for yourself, not to sell or give away, but to keep? Example: two Star Wars, two Rockys, etc.

    Thats an interesting thought......

Especially with some of the seemingly rare machines......

but with a space issue here at home - I would prefer to have a variety of machines instead.....

When I saw the Areddin on ebay last week I had the urge to get it...I don't know why, I guess I just love that one so much.

But if I would have had the money to buy it, I probably would have come to my senses and got a pachinko that I didn't already have instead.

I've never felt the need to have a duplicate machine. As Hanabi mentioned, space is always going to be an issue and if I'm going to drop the bucks, I want something I don't already have.

I agree about the space limitations. My game room is tiny and I have three arcade machines and two pachinkos. I don't really see the point in having duplicates.

Remember. most machines come in different versions: different cells, machine colors, and payouts. Arby mentioned in another thread about all of the different colors that Star Wars was available. In another thread it was discussed all of the payout differences and cell graphics differences with the Spiderman pachinko. You could have two machines that are the same model, but different: the orange case Rocky and the black case Rocky. So would you get two of the same machines if they weren't exactly the same?

Most all the machines have identical cases, just different colors. No point in duplicating that. A full set of the different cells is the way to go, just change them out and you got the same machine with different specs.

This would make a very interesting thread listing what cells will go to what frame. Or maybe that has been done already? I'm to lazy today to do the legwork on the search function:sigh1: .

For example I have the red Bisty frame that the Marilyn cell is in now. Is there an up to date list of old and upcoming cells that I could fit in it safely?

BTW I have been thinking about getting the second cell for STAR WARS also to swap out. The more I think about it the more I like that idea

Arby has listed some of these lists periodically. Like I know that Cinderella Boy will fit in the black/orange Top Gun case, but not the White one.
At one time Arby sold StarWars in the white case with a Star Blazers cell along with it. Tulsa picked up one of those sets.
Having a list like this would be cool. Now all we gotta do is find someone to do the research.

Is there a site in Japan that covers this or is it trial and error? I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking myself. Sounds like something that would be difficult to get info on but it could also open up a lot of sales for the local pachitalk importers?

The Heiwa case the Thunderzone, Batman, Lupin III and many others we've seen on this site should all be interchangeable. Since I have a separate case for both the Batman and the Thundezone, I've never tried it out.
