Do you prefer Pachislos or UK Fruit machines?

Anyone know any contact in the UK that can get their hands on a Dr. Who fruit machine?
Talked to my co-worker on friday, and he is shipping his old saab to here in wisconsin via container, and has asked if I wanted to place anything in there.
Searched on ebay UK, no luck there :-(

I will ask the dealer that I got my machine off, although I doubt he would have one as they quite old now & rarely come up on e-bay. I will let you know what he says.

wow well done mike i tryed my sorces and they said i would be hard pushed to find one as it is quite an old one and these were the people that brought the used machines from the arcades

In the same space as you can keep one UK fruit you can keep two Pachislos (if you store one underneath) so on storage alone Pachilsos win but you can`t beat your friends helping you save for your summer holidays by donating coins to your fruit machine. I`m getting a set of three Maygay Simpsons ones to complete my games room, thats on top of the five pachislos in use (the four spares stored underneath for rotation, yet to be bought) and my two Pakinchos. Variety is the spice of life and I can see an extension coming on soon to house the ever increasing collection. Got to go to B & Q for one of them wind generators they just started selling to power them all next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok iv looked into this and you are talking aprox £340 uk pounds or $668 us dollers i say aprox as they all varey in weaight so iv gone for the middle of the scale when looking for a price

Always wanted a couple of pinball machines , maybe a Doctor Who, Star Wars,Star Trek, Simpsons ,The Who`s TOMMY, but I just dont have the room or a Wife who understands , so when I saw my first Pachinko I was HOOKED LIKE FISH, its as good as for a hell of a lot less cash and now Im onto pachislos as well so you could say I swing both ways (so to speak) as far as UK fruit machines I have never been a fan , mainly because of the Gambling aspect of UK machines, im not a gambler so I dont get the buzz, I know you may say "yes but pachinkos and pachislos are gambling machines from japan" but I say its the playing against the machine with all the lights , video , and sounds which is the thrill not the monatery gain, so GIVE ME PACHI EVERY TIME DUDE

I too don't particularly like the Gambling Aspect - but I have a couple of Fruit Machines - and they are fun to play - you have to pit your wits against the Machine to access and progress through the Features..........

I don't see much difference between Fruits and Pachislos really

However, PACHINKO really is a whole new (ball) Game!!!

Also have my eye on german fruit machines that are smaller and hang-on the wall - go to www.ebay.de and search for "spielautomat." Found a seller who will ship to the UK for only 85 euros.

I like gambling so for me im afraid the Fruit Machine Wins , I have 2 Fruit Machines, A Quick on the Draw by Vivid and a Monty Python by Barcrest.

I also love the pachislos but the reason I like the Fruit Machines more is because there is more player interaction.

Pachislos do have a big advantage over Fruit Machines though, there small and can go in your bedroom easily unlike the Fruit Machines that are stuck in the garage!

i dont know about that i have my machine from barcrest in my bedroom and love having it ....dwarfs my pachislo's and is really more exciting i think but i love working on them all ......

I've made a video of my 1987 'Crackerpot' fruit machine in action. It's a .avi of about 8.5 meg in size.
