Default I'm back with Customized Pachi Goodness

Hello All! Its been awhile since I've posted anything about customized Pachislo Accesories. I've been busy with our new arrival baby girl Katelyn.
I have a couple projects going on right now, that I plan to sell. These include Beast Sapp sideart and topper, Classic Thunderbirds side art and topper, Speed Racer sideart (already availble) and topper. I've restricted my designing to just my three pachislos so far. Others will follow as I get the dimentions. I'm really trying to push the limit on these products. I want the products to look like they are direct from the factory, not something somebody just slapped together. Here is a glimpse of The Classic Thunderbirds topper, not quite happy with the layout yet. Tell me what you think. Also I have some slot machine token cups for sale on Ebay right now if anybody is interested. I plan on having customized Pachislo token cups soon.http://cgi.ebay.com/10-New-Slot-Mach...QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks, we now have one of each gender. My wife is already talking about a third. I work from home and take care of both.

Tell her you got both, don't want to see what the third gender is!

welcome back! Have you considered artwork for backlit light box's like belly glass. I was thinking on getting belly glass art and making light box's I see some 'new' glass on ebay once in awhile. I think this would make any gameroom a pachi palace.

The thought has come across me. I've been looking at American slot machine glass on Ebay for a while now. The thing is the American glass seems very expensive. Pachi light boxes would be great inexpensive alternative. I actually have two department store backlit signs that would work. The signs are double sided, so I could put the signs on a rotatable display stand. This would give the signs a realistic casino feel. I think I will start working on the signs and see what I come up with. I've noticed that Stealth Home Amusement has a parts area on there web site. Maybe Stealth would sell the belly glass as a part. Let me know if you come up with any more ideas.

what do you need as far as American belly glass? I have 100's of pieces. My game room walls are covered with them plus I have a stack that have yet to make the wall. Check out my game room pix in "pictures of your gameroom"page 11. Anyway get in touch with me if you want any . $10 each does that sound fair.

We have plenty of ideas around here, opinions also. I have been thinking of the light box ides for awhile, I have a co-worker whose wife does stained glass 'art' and my sis does glass painting some looks like stained glass some is custom artwork, she lays it out with a pc then prints it backwards then paints it on the back side of the glass, it looks and wears great. I was going to have one or both make me some glass I was going to mount in wood light box's.
My fatherinlaw has an arieal picture of his farm mounted in a light box and it had me thinking of doing similar for some time now. BTW it looks really cool in a semi dark living room. he says it looks like TV.
home centers sell 13" flouresent fixtures and I can make any size or style wood box. or MDF sealed and spray painted, looks as good or better than plastic.
fyi: white or yelow wood glue thinned with water makes a cheap and excellent MDF sealer!! a 220 sand and it is as smooth as plastic. prime and spray paint for great results.

Thanks for the ideas on the lightbox. I've usually look around for old or used backlit signs to refurbish. I then add my graphics and resell them. My wood working skills are not the greatest, but I guess practice makes perfect. The stuff your sister does sounds interesting. You will have to post a pic.

Any chance you have any glass with penguins of some sort?
The wife is a nut about penguins, and I've been searching ebay for awhile with no luck:-)

lately sis buys flattened bottles and paints them up with custom wine labels, they either hang them as decor or use as spoon rests. She also makes wine glass' look like they are made from stained glass. She is the artist in the family.

The only game in Delaware right now with penguins is an IGT game called Snow Globes. Unfortunetly Its a new IGT game and they do not use belly glass anymore. All the newer games that IGT, Ballys and WMS are bringing into the state use 19" lcds instead of belly glass so converting game to another theme is as easy as changing a chip. Belly glass is becoming a thing of the past and a great collectable. When I get home I'll go through the piles of glass I have and see if I have anything with a penguin on it but I don't think so. heres a picture of Snow Globes.

I have a life of luxury up on the wall. It has a boat and a car. I think I have some pirate stuff too but I have to check. When I get home I'll go through it all. here is a pix of life of Luxury.
I have a ton of glass but I'm not sure how to ship it, I'll see if I can get some glass boxes from work but there hard to come by because thats how the glass is stored in our store room. #400 4 me

I've been buying slot belly glass and arcade marquees off eBay for my lightbox wall project lately, and much of it was shipped in a flatpack with 1/8" melamine on either side, or with thick cardboard and I have yet to get any broken ones, just my 2C

ps, did you get my PM about buttons?
