Default Spin knob a little flimsy?

Is there anyway to "tighten" a pachinko spin knob? My Thunderzone seems a little weak compared to my other two.

Let's see if I can go 2 for 2 today. My TZ was the same way. Go back to Greg's museum pics and look at the 6th one down. Facing the back of the TZ, it's on the right side near the bottom. It's a small round black plastic gizmo. Use a small philips screwdriver, and make small adjustments. Right for more, left for less.

Are you talking about the "shooter volume"? The machine plays great. The only problem that it seems to lack is the shooting knob seems to be weak then my other 2 machines. I mean turning it to shoot is very easy , like there is no resistance. Is there a way to tighten up the shooting knob itself or is this the way this machine is?

Oh, okay. The TZ shooter isn't my favorite either, and the lack of resistance is really obvious if I move to the TZ from another machine. You're right about that.

Like the good doc says, you could try putting a shorter spring in there.

I don't know about the TZ specifically, but there is a wound spring inside the shooter knowbs that you could potentially open and then wind it around one extra time for more tension. However when I did this by mistake on one of my pachinkos that I was cleaning, it really didn't work all that well.
