i take it they installed a 5 amp transformer in the machine ok go get the same size fuse as they had in it .shouldnt be a problem .

if you cant get a 5 amp you can go as low as 3 and it will work just fine .the rating of the transformer is based on the output of the transformer not the input . the input is where your fuse is and its alot lower draw heres the math . watts= amps x volts in this case output 24 volts x 5 amps = 120 watts so the input is 120 watts / 110 volts = 1.09 amps input so 5 is really overkill but will blow just as fast if shorted so no problem

We asked them the same question, however, it only applies to antique slot machines. They put that on their as a standard disclaimer, sort of in an effort to keep the folks at eBay happy.

and an update! We are now playing our Speed Racer machine! WooHoo! Thanks for everyone's help!

It is obvious that the machine had to have been knocked around pretty badly in shipping... the door is askew, the damage to the outer case that I mentioned in a previous post, a few other wires that we discovered that were unplugged, and the coin director was bent inside. But... it's working now and we're very pleased with the concern from Canada Slot. They left a message on our answering machine in an attempt to walk us through the repair, have been quick to respond to emails, and have offered to replace the machine. Good customer service does still exist!

They have good customer service, and their packing has improved.
Now they have to use longer screws for the transformers. My first DekaInca had a transformer come loose also.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

He must have 35 machines on ebay right now 30 of which are 79.99 why buy from his site when you can buy it now for less on ebay ....... and shipping 20 dollars cheaper ......and at least you have some recourse with ebay and always use a credit card preferably American express then theres no worries .

When my wife asks how much I paid for a machine, I never mention the shipping charge. So my Speed Racer was $79.99. She would kill me if she found out it cost $89.99 to ship
