The original Frogger for the Atari 400 was released on tape.

I remember waiting for maybe 20 minutes for it to load. But it was a blast to play.

Now that one called Jumpman that was impossible to load from 2 tapes and we just gave up on it.

Loved Jumpman on the ol C64 tho (I think? )

at one time I had an Amiga 1200, commodore 64, atari 1200 and Ti99-4A set up on 2 monitors. I could run any of the systems just by flipping a few switches.

Tryin' to remember here hmmm I had a small Ti was it 41 or something that had that darn membrane keys, a Vic 20 with carts , A C64 I think at first with tape drive and then the large floppy drive , a C128, An Amiga 500, An Amiga CD32, An Amiga 1200 and then I also got interested in those 286 dos machines but we won't go there....

It's fun thinking about them and would be even more fun playin' with them again. I think I heard or read somewhere that there is an museum that has all those plus more and they are all in working order?

Yep me also. I miss those days with the CD32 and Amiga stuff etc but that's progress

One thing is for sure those games way back then were tightly coded (they had to be because of limited memory and floppy drive space etc) and very playable.
