Help! Sinbad Adventure Pachislo Bet selection?

Hi help please!

Took delivery of my new "Sinbad Adventure" Pachislo last week and it's great working perfectly.

The machine is set to MAX BET so the option to select 1 / 2 / 3 winning lines is not an option. The 1 / 2 / and 3 Medal lights to the left of the reels therefore never light up.

Is there a way somehow, in settings, to change this?

They should light up m8 as far as I know , you need to check the bulbs are seated ok and not blown .

Am not sure about Sinbad Adventure, but most all newer machines are max-bet only.

Sinbad is a max bet/ credit only machine. Probably all Elecos' but this in my only Eleco so I am assuming.

Ahh yes what a wonderful problem to have, Too many toys!!! Enjoy your toys but don't forget your old friends, they might get lonely.

My mistake. I meant to say not enought free time to enjoy our toys.

I have a Beast Sapp which is essentially the same as Sinbad. On mine, only the 1st Medal light lit up.

I was able to prove that the others were out, by moving the 'good' bulb to the other positions.

I told my supplier and they sent me a new set of bulbs, so in my case all 3 lights work.

However, as you point out, since its a Max Bet machine only, they arn't really of much use, but they do show you how many coins you have put in, when you insert the first 3.

I would say that its certainly best to have them working than not.. But if you can't get replacement bulbs, having none working, is better than what I had (i.e one working)

all 3 of mine are on all the time on my Sinbad Adventure and Monkey Magic, they do flicker when you hit the max bet button.

They should also come on one by one, when the machine is empty and you put in 3 coins.

If I remember rightly, isn't there a 'add credit' button which allows you to add a credit on-by-one (Again lighting each light) rather than the 'Max Bet'... I could be wrong on this last point and some machines have this and others don't

Hi Guys

Thank you all for your friendly advice. I was told by the supplier that it was a MAX BET machine only but was not sure. There is a smaller button adjacent to the MAX BET button but it doesn't do anything at all.

Another problem I have is that a "dual potentiometer" volume modification has been added to the machine but when the sound is turned down it runs hot and then the sound distorts and goes intermittent. It is a small 10 ohm pot.

Perhaps I should fit something bigger?

This one works fine at full volume but that defeats the object!

I just checked my Sinbad Adventure. There are 3 lamps in removable holders behind the #1/#2/#3 holders. I highly suspect that they are indeed burnt out.
The small button is a 1 credit button. It will add them up, until there are 3, then it will roll.
All3 lamps should light on a free spin...
On the Volume controls..I *STRONGLY* suggest using a "L" pad. It's the right way to go for many reasons. There are many threads on here about that already

HarleyBum beat me to it. on the machines that I own, all but two of them are max bet but the 1,2,3 coin indicator lights come on when you add tokens to it...

It is a single bet when in the bonus round ! and only 1 medal will show as bet when playing bonus round.

the 10 ohm pot is undersized and should be replaced if its heating up it can be replaced with an L-pad as was suggested or a half watt 47 ohm resistor from radio shack will do applied inline on one of the speaker leads of each speaker will usually reduce the volume to a level that the on board volume switch will do its job comfortably . some machines do require a larger resistor based on personal hearing preference . but at 99 cents a pack of five you cant go wrong .Also gaku and milt sell the right sized stereo volume pots on their web sites since you probably already have the hole drilled for the pot thats there.

we went through this before, but 1/4 watt rating is OK for pachislo.
