Can we post an excel spreadsheet? I have a door calculator that I would be willing to share with any member wanting to make raised panel doors.

You could probably post a coulple of pics of the type of doors it could help make, then post a link to the file. The museum is designed for pics. but you can put links in the description.

A couple pics of the inside. The first is the top with the lid open. I knew this area needed some padding, it was making way too much noise when I loaded balls in it. I had a stack of old mouse pads so I cut them to fit & glued them in place. That really made a big difference. I also added a power switch in this area, which makes turning it on a lot easier. Nothing makes turning it off easy.

The second picture is the area where the balls fall out of the machine. I also used mouse pads here to quiet the racket.

    Aha!

I was gong to put something in the Drawer of my Cabinet to deaden the sound - maybe a thick piece of Felt...

Never considered Mouse Pads!! I'll have to dig some out and do a little experimenting me thinks

    Many thanks for the Tip

I think I would stay far away from using felt......

We used to have RPG tournaments in our store, and the play boards for the miniatures were covered in green felt.....and even after all this time since we have had a tournament, I still find green felt fibers around the store form time to time.

I don't think the inside of a pachi would like having felt fibers being slowly cycled through it.

Are these just extra mouse pads? I can't say as I've ever used one so much that I needed to get another.

I'm one of the world's worst hoarders. Several years ago I worked for a company that closed down. There was a stack of mouse pads with the company logo on them that nobody wanted so I grabbed them thinking that one day I'd find a use for them. Finally I did.

Yup who cares what is imprinted on them, I had some from a company I worked for, we had to goto trade shows, = free junk. and we changed vendors here twicwe since I have been here, and you can't work an IBM mouse on a gateway mosepad! the cows were bad! oh and the crates of the "I survived the windows 95 upgrade" were so hot in 2000. If you need some check some of the PC re-sellers, you gotta look quick because around here they close up shop before the ink is dry on the yellow pages.

Also I guess it's worth mentioning that these are the type that have cloth on the top rather than the slick plastic that many of them have. I used regular wood glue to attach them. The glue stuck to the cloth as well as it does to wood. I seriously doubt that wood glue would stick to the slick plastic type.

Have you tried contact cement on mouse pads? It certainly might work, but I think there's some kind of teflon or other type of non-stick coating on them. If there is I'm not sure if you could get much to stick to them. Sounds like I might need to put on the lab coat and run some experiments!

oh ya on with the lab coats, I paraphrase the boys from Myth busters, if superglue don't work, use contact cement. so true. My main adhesives are in no particular order: super glue, contact cement, titebond2 , gorilla glue 2 ton epoxy and plastic epoxy.
