    Default Woot!

If you haven't been there before, check out http://www.woot.com/
Every day they have a new overstock item for sale, usually with insanely cheap shipping. They take CC's or paypal, and ship pretty quickly.
My latest purchase were the speakers that are on there today (24th), perfect for my arcade box!
Once I decase the speakers, the remote wired volume and bass control will be perfect for mounting under my control panel

Anyhoo, this is a great site to have bookmarked and check daily, they have a wide range of stuff there worth looking at

I woot regularly. My latest was a Magellan talking GPS for the car for under $300. It sells for $480 and up everywhere. Anyhow, it works great and the wife loves it. If you go the wrong way it says such things as, "Do a legal U-turn at the next possible intersection." "Your destination is on the right .5 miles ahead." "You have arrived!"

    It is very cool.

Yup, my problem though, is that I'm old:-)
I'm a morning person, so evidently that means my internal clock goes into sleep mode at about 10:30 :-)
I missed the roomba because I forgot to check the entire day though, so I had no excuse

Their shipping is always a flat $5 no matter what you buy and how much they actually have to pay to ship the item.

Be sure you have the SATA interface, though, for that drive.

    Remember, though...
Refurb drives have much shorter warranties. Usually something like 90 or 180 days? And drive warranties, from what I've used, are from date of manufacture... not necessarily date of purchase.
New drives usually have warranties that go for 2 or 3 years... or more.
They just might be worth the extra $ for insurance.

The Western Digital drives only come with a 1 year anymore.
Woot themselves are warrantying this one for 6 months. That's good enough for me.

I'd be satisfied with the 6 month on the refurb. People in the discussion groups have been mostly pretty pleased with the Western Digital refurbs.

Oh, btw, here's a good site for seeing what is going on with the Woot-off:
