Default Deka Nana with no sound

Hi I have a bellco deka nana and I love it , but recently the sound has stopped, no coin drop, replay, bonuses, music, jam sounds nothing. Everything else works perfect lights and reels. I have checked all connections of wiring and tested speakers and reset but still have no sounds. ALL help would be great. Thanks

That sounds similar to the problem I was having...

Everything worked on my Club Rodeo except the sound effects.
& surprisingly the answer to my problem was to simply unplug the machine and let it sit for a few days. My guess is that the power stored in the circuit board capacitors eventually drain, and when you plug it back in, everything is reset and restored.

It's worth a try if you've tried everything else...just gotta be patient
    It worked for me

    hope this helps...

I can only guess at how long-
Mine was unplugged for 6 days. Not sure if that was longer than needed.
It could be more or less for yours... and it would suck to test it too early.

again, I can't promise this is gonna do the trick
All I can say is that it worked for me!

Trace the wires back from the speakers. It's that board.
Reseat all of the connectors on it, not just the ones for the speakers.

If that doesn't take care of it, at least you won't have to wait a week to find out.

its the board where your volume switch is.

My We Sky pachinko had the top speaker connection loose, but it wasn't noticable till I checked it.

Machine has 2 speakers with a volume switch made onto each one, one on door and one on back wall. the wires on the front one run up to board on door with some lights mounted on it then through ribbon wire to computer board and rear speaker wire run up to power control box so still not sure were sound board is. dont think this machine got one like the newer ones but dont know what produces the sound

Sorry don't have that brand to tell you where to look, Eleco's (sinbad) is on door, 2 pair of red and white wires, do you have volume controls? if so check the setting. After powering back up try a full reset if still won't work.
do you have a warrenty/support from where you bought it?

The sound board is located in the front reel glass section, it could be the little volume control board mounted on the speaker, you could try unplugging it for a while, but it is most likely a board or a connection, check all the speaker connections again, if you need a board or a speaker I have them in stock.

Trace the wires back from the speaker to the reel glass board and make sure that they did not get broken in some way

you mentioned "Machine has 2 speakers with a volume switch made onto each one". Do you have a digital camera i'd like to see these switches or volume controls . most machines come with 1 volume control switch on the amplifier not a control for each speaker . if it was bought this way it might have had volume controls that have since failed . it might be as easy as by passing these if they are not factory installed devices but id like to see them first .

Jeff might be onto something, This what I was going for also, but failure of these would be rare. 1/4 watt is not that much juice. by pass same colored wires ONLY!!

I tested the wires for sound by stripping the wires on set earphones and touched to wires but no sound. I also talked to stealth and they sent me a sound board that was supposted to work, but my machine has nothing that looks like it or will it will connect to. have included another picture of inside of machine to see what it has

most amplifers are on the door or on a side of the machine. enclosed in a smaller clear plastic box.

I have a machine sitting infront of me, the sound board seems to be incorperated in the front reel glass board on the right side of the inside glass, the two sound wires go from the speaker to the fornt reel glass board, if you have tryed everything else this board might be bad, try Milt for a one if not I have one for you.

When testing the sound from the board unplug the wire from the volume control on the speaker and check for sound by connecting to the now loose wire, to rule out a short in the sound controler itself.
Can you check resistance between the leads, in the plug in to the speaker controls, should be between 8ohm and 20 ohm depending on the volume control switch setting. less than 8 is bad, prob fried amp, too high and no sound will be heard.
