    Default Greets and some questions!

Hi all, I'm not very new here because I've been reading the board for a few months now, but this is my first time posting so "hi" to everyone.
I currently own the Devil Bat, Horror Mansion, & Back to the Future machines and was wondering if starting a fever round is initiated by just the start gate or elsewhere. I gently bent the start gate nails on my BttF machine and the reels spin more often and it's more enjoyable to play, but is there something I'm missing?
Also on my Horror Mansion LCD there's a small box in the lower left that flashes a "X"/eyeball frequently and on my BttF LCD in the upper right theres a rectangle with three "on" buttons that lighten/darken. Anyone know what these are for/do/mean? Another thing as well is that there is a LED display under the LCD of my BttF that only goes up as far as "04" and four single display LED lights that surround the number display (two on the left and two on the right) anyone know why "04" is the highest and what the single display LED's mean? (They don't have to do with the displayed number.)
And finally on my BttF machine the nail placement for the right side of the board basically prohibits play because the ball never gains momentum to reach the start gate. Anyone have a BttF and knows what I'm talking about?
This has been THE most helpful pachinko resourse on the web.
Thanks for any answers you guys/girls could provide!

usually small lights going on and off are for banking spins or flipper openings.

Welcome to Pachitalk. I believe the numbers 1-4 you refer to is the number of banked spins. On all machines there are only 4 spins banked and they all seem to indicate them in different ways. I don't have Bttf yet but it's definitely on my want list as I have the Bttf pinball. I hope you can find some more answers here and update us as to how you like it.

Don't be afraid to adjust the nails on the machine to gain a more enjoyable play from it. Gentle is the key though. A proper nail adjustment tool set is highly recommended.

Could someone post a pic of what this nail adjustment tool looks like? I don't know if I want to adjust mine or not, but I'm always curious about unfamiliar tools.

I use a very small socket on a handle, it doesn't damage the playfield and it gives you some extra leverage for fine adjustments.

A few slight adjustments by pockets make the gameplay more intresting
