Now this is a classy way to market a classy Pachinko. The professional presentation kinda reminds me of the old Sear's Christmas catalogs.

A Pachinko with a "belly glass" of sorts.

Here are MP3 trance versions of Pachinko game music such as Lupin, Evangelion, Ultra Seven, and many others. Something a little different.

I'm not sure of what this item represents but my guess would be some sort of Pachinko Hall ball collector and re-director. It seems to be able to direct balls to the left or right and have some sensor wiring perhaps for a monitoring computer or battle counter. Perhaps Compirate can set us straight.

That's a machine from an arcade. Converted to a form of cyclic, no longer needs the shooting tray.

Yes, these are behind all machines in the parlor to catch the balls and direct them into the ball return trough. I think that sensor is only a switch to inform the parlor manager of a blockage. Got 5 on the way, will keep you informed.

200,000 Yen? I don't know if you have to be brave to bid on this game or just lucky to sell for that asking price. Either way, the force is strong in this one.

I don't know what to make of this 40's vintage machine. Is it Boats, Trains or Automobiles? Is it some form of hovercraft? A washing machine agitator? This single shot is supposed to be the "first automatic type" but I think that the translation should read "first cash machine" as 5 Yen go in and the balls come out. I find it cool because it is old but doesn't do anything for me otherwise.

I like this one only because we've got the new Evangelion slot parked next to an older Harley. The one to the left also looks like an IGT machine but I can't make out what it is.

I think this one was discussed before, I remember commenting on it. The game is based on MahJong, as in the real game, not the tile matching thing aka Shanghai.

From the looks of this machine, I suspect you play an interactive game on the LCD. In the real game there are 4 players and each starts out with 13 tiles. I am guessing you shoot 13 balls to create your initial hand. If you notice, there is no drain hole...each ball will land in one of the pockets that represent a specific tile. Mahjong is a little like Gin Runny. You try to form "sets" out of all your tiles. On each turn, you draw a new one or take someone's discard, and discard one of your own. I'm sure shooting a ball would be how you draw a new tile. The set of buttons would be used to tell the system which card in your hand you want to discard etc.

The game is most likely something like this, based loosely around the real game. I notice they don't have a complete set of Mahjong tiles represented though. There's normally another series of 9 different tile designs, based on sticks. There are only 4 of each type of tile in the game, so somehow they have to prevent you from registering more than 4 of a kind if/when a ball drops in a pocket where all of that type has been played. Maybe when that happens, the ball gets discarded or dropped into the return tray? This game would be a blast to play and would be the most interactive you can get. It's definitely not one where you shoot an "endless" stream of balls and hope you get lucky. If I ever see this available here, I'm picking one up.

    CR Ferrari up on YJA

    Ends 2/4

The winning bidder so far is also a seller, so little chance of winning this away from him, unless someone really wanted it!

    Sorry, there's another:

    Ends 2/5

    Thanks Compirate!

Hopefully the winner will be a member here and we can finally get to see a lot of video of it in action.

You have any idea how much it would total including shipping + commissions this would run a newbie on this type of purchase?

Haven't shipped a whole machine in a while.

    Last time I did:
    Purchase price
commission: 10% or 1,000Y (whichever is higher)
postage in Japan (usually around 2,000Y)
    Packaging (2,000Y?)
    EMS to US $350-400
commission on shipping: 10% of shipping
