What is on your To GET list? and on your 'to keep' list?

After buying my first two machines blindly at auction I decided to focus on 'keepers' Thanks to this forum I avoided the dreaded "Million GOD",
And after discusing it in posts I had to get the Sinbad Adventure! What machine/s do you want, and why? What machines do you wqnt to get rid of, what must you keep? What machines are to be avoided? Food for thought,

I plan on getting:
King camel, this will be my first non-LCD machine, the video of the unique reel play is great.

I also want another non LCD (read cheap) to "franken PAch" with autostop, arm mod, custom belly glass, etc.

To get rid of:
none! but if push came to shove Yajikita might go to new home as It is almost 100% non-english.

I will be keeping King Camel, Savanna Park, Babel, Continental 4X and selling King Wild, Mephisto and the Welcome to Las Vegas pachislos.

On the to get side, I am looking at the King Of Animals and a Sinbad Adventure.

My criteria was to have a varied selection of machines.. Not only to play, but to show off...

So, after weeks of investigating and asking questions, i went for:

Beast Sapp
Super Black Jack
King Camel

I also went for a Star Wars.

I felt that this gave a good spread of technology and would be an impressive collection.

However, there were a few things that I didn't expect.

1. I don't get on with Pachinko.. I just don't understand it.. So, whilst I love StarWars (And won't be selling it, just because it looks so impressive) I don't actually play it.. But I don't think that its a problem owning something which you don't play.. For me, ownership is part of the fun.

2. I missed out on an El-Vision machine, which was what got me intersted the whole 'Pachislo thing' the first place.

So, even before my first delivery had arrived, I ordered a Neo Zetz

3. I just didn't like Super Black Jack.. It just did nothing for me.. I agree that its a good Pachiso, in that it has nice big reels and is easy to Eye shoot.. But for me it did nothing.

So, I just sold SBJ and bought a Tekken (Which I ADORE)


Therefore, my final 'keep' list is:

Tekken
Beast Sapp
Neo Zetz
King Camel
Star Wars.

However, the only expection to this is that now I have to fighting themes (Tekken and Sapp), I woul really like to swap my Sapp for Sinbad.. So, hopefully oneday, I will find someone who wants a Sapp and will buy Sinbad instead.

For me, this list is perfect.. it gives me a selection of machines with different themes and technologies and is EXACTLY what I want in my games room.

well i cant think of anything i truly want but I'm open to being corrupted with a cheap pachinko then i might be willing to expand into a quality machine collection if i like them ....... i have found a real fondness for the older (90's and earlier)pachislo machines that have stood the test of time and become victorious (and their prices are cheap on ebay) these are the ones you want to franken pachi ( trust me I'm the father of the franken pachi just ask Tulsa he named them.) And I'm glad to see you want to dabble with the machines you'll probably find its your favorite machine afterward being as you've had a hand in it .......
