Am refurbing a maruhon single shot(nagoya model),has small display window on front,which holds about 7 balls.You can flip the small lever to feed one of the balls directly to the payout,and a slide gate on the back to de-activate the window option altogether.havent gotten it completely together yet,but was wondering if any body can explain its function. pic. can be seen on ebay # 150011673938

I am not sure what it is called but if you hit two winning pockets at the same time the "see-saw" will payout one win and the other goes to the small window to cash later. I have a 1965 "super Maruto" and that has the same thing I believe you are talking about. Hope it helps.

Sorry bout the late get back as my time is limited ,but I do believe your right after alot of play I noticed I could (JAM) the pay out with multiples and the payout tray would go empty but you could recoup with lever and get your pay off NEETOOO
