Its been almost 3 months and the web site says recieved and being processed

I've called them THREE times now, Lucky. Am not going to let up on this. Last call was 3 weeks back and they claimed (the rebate processor) that it would be here within 4 weeks and all was well. Also, checked a forum (Fat Wallet) where they discuss this sort of thing. Some are just now starting to receive their rebates. This is the longest rebate I've ever had to wait for. I would not buy another unit from this company with a rebate due to the aggravation.

I hate the rebate scam, unless it is an instant rebate. I let the MRs. deal with it. she keeps the $.

Lucky or anyone else. I found a contact named Kathy who took care of me on this and now have the rebate safely in my bank account. All is well here. The rebate comes from Wintergreen Systems who, it turns out, are often notorious for slow rebate processing.

WOW! Boy are they slick. I wonder how many people never get their rebate, because they threw their junk mail out. Scary! Let me go check my junk mail now. Wait! I didn't buy one of these. Nice Deal.

In the mail today is something from Office Depot. It was my rebate from the LCD monitor. We understand that the receipt of your rebate may have taken longer than anticipated, and we regret any inconvenience this delay may have caused you. As you may know, this particular rebate was not issued by Office Depot; rather was issued by a vendor, who we understand was directly responsible for funding the rebates with a third-party promotional servives company,failed to do so.

Please accept the enclosed rebate payment with both our apologies for the delay in getting it to you and our thanks for your loyalty and business.

They also gave me a 5.00 dollar gift card and a 10.00 dollar coupon off of qualifying purchase of 50.00 or more. Well it is about darn time! At least they honored it for the other company.

Glad to hear you got your rebate!

I've had good luck with them online in the past... and their local store is very well stocked!
I just wish they had the 'Easy Rebates' that Staples does... go online, enter the code on the slip, and watch the mail. You never have to cut any UPCs or send receipts and forms!

More companies should offer their rebates like that!

I wish that ALL rebates were instant!!! I have missed several, my own fault, I know...but INSTANT would be awesome!!!
