$104.00 19 inch LCD moniter

Got my monitor an hour ago and just finished hooking it up. BRIGHT, CLEAR, great contrast!!! Zero dead pixels. Text displays crisp, deep black and sharp. I'm more pleased than I had expected.

What a great deal for just a bit over $100 after rebate. Already removed the UPC, etc. and have the rebate ready to mail.

The volume is too quiet, even at 100, maybe my hearing is going I'm using my regular speakers

My LCD monitor came today. Yes it is nice once again to both have a 19 inch screen and have it not be dark! I am so used to a dark screen that it is uncomfortable and I have to tone it down. I have never had an LCD and the text is a little different. I notice that some words will be vary sharp and some will appear somewhat less. Like the heading of this thread all the words are clear but the word monitor is a bit different, not as sharp. Don't notice any dead pixels! Thanks Lucky, it's nice not having a monitor the size of a compact car on your desk!

Well I need some advice on this LCD monitor. Something may be wrong with it. Unless what it is doing is normal. Some words of text are sharp and some look like they are a bit fuzzy. I was studying the screen and all the fuzzy text is in a line going from top to bottom in two places on the screen. First place is at about 5 inches in and the second is at about 10 inches in. If I move the whole window back and forth you can see the text going in and out of these two areas. Is there maybe a setting or something I need to check?

try hitting the first button on the left, auto adjust. are your monitor connections tight??

call your local Office Depot, maybe you can take it in and have them check it???

I tried hitting it, that didn't work! So then I tried that auto adjust. What do you know, it worked! Thanks Lucky!

when I moved my 15 inch LCD to my kitchen computer, the screen was off center, auto-adjust fixed it right up

For the rebate, what did you use as a copy of the proof of purchase? Do I use the copy of the transaction with the order # and amount it came to from when I ordered it?

I printed a copy of the order showing the amount paid, etc. There was no official "invoice."

I called them and they said they don't send out invoices for online orders.

I printed out a copy of my order and plan on underling the order date,

did you print out the rebate coupon???

a copy of the packing list which is on page 2 of the booklet
a copy of the invioce
I plan on sending the ups delivery label from the box also,

make sure you keep a copy of everything, I had a rebate problem once and got it cleared up because I had copies. and I finally got the rebate.

I've never not gotten a rebate, but there have been plenty that I've had to call on and complain about and several that have required me to send copies. Never hurts to document all your rebate information with copies, especially if the rebate amount is large as this one is.

Office Depot has the $100.00 rebate on the hanns 19 inch monitor until the 31st. 239.99 still a good price.

My rebate has been "processing" since 09/11/06. That's a LONG time to get the $100 rebate out. Anyone get their rebate on this monitor yet?

Well be patient....they need the tree to grow so they can make the paper to print your rebate check on. They usually plant the seed 6-8 weeks after receiving your form.
