My First Pachinko Arrived!!!!!
I won this on ebay last week for $20 and I just got back from being away this weekend and there it was at my door! Ok so its not a REAL Pachinko but its pretty cool I think its circa 1970s. In the pics you can see the Ball shooter area that has a knob broken off which controls the amount of balls that are loaded into the shooter. The knob is at the bottom of the main pic and it wont be much to rig a fix. The machine?, works fine none the less and its really loud seeing that it is all plastic so the case acts like an amp.
Its a quaint little toy that gives me an idea of Pachinko so that when a Decainka come around I will have a little more familiarity with Pachinko.
It turns out that up at the Lake house where I was, Dahlias Dad at one time had a Pachinko which was long gone. but I found about 200 of the machines balls which were in the small house on the floor. It was cool to see them in real life, they had nice engravings on them so I knew from Pachitalk that they were original. Some were rusty in areas and all were covered in dust so I put them in a Ziplock sandwich bag and filled it with WD40 and let them sit since Fri. I took them out of the bag this morning put them in a strainer and sprayed them with PJ1 super cleaner. Result ? Rust is completely gone and they look shiny new. So now I have 200 new balls for when the Paylot arrives which should be tomorrow.
