Single Coin and Credit Add board

I have been thinking of a circuit board to add to my Neo Pharoah Zetz machine. It would use a Pic to add 50 credits with a push button, and when a coin is added detect the coin and emit 3 sets of pulses...
When I purchased may machine I was not aware you always had to add 3 coins a bit of a pain in the neck. with the 1coin = 3 output should help the problem..

Before my son and I start working on the mod has anyone else done a similar mod?? not just a credit add but a 1coin =3 mod.

Have enjoyed reading past posts and has been helpful giving me the information I need about where the wires are to tap...

there are coin mechs available on ebay that are for 8-liner or cherrymaster machines and are programmable as far as pulses per coin . I'm sure one could be adapted to fit your machine to take a single token input signal and out put as many as 8 or so pulses. It is an interesting idea ...... maybe worth some experimenting ......altho i found a way to add a free play switch (single credit add momentary switch ) and it only takes 3 or four sec. to hit 50 coins ...

as for the max bet machines i can tell you ive got 2 machines that take 1,2 or 3 coin bets and there almost always played at 3 coins at a time and most machines have a max bet button anyway now so your really not missing much in that area .

you can always speed load tokens in your machines, take about 15 in your hand, place on coin ramp and jiggle. it's very fast that way

Thanks for your kind offer, I need just enough for my machine (6). Dont plan on making units for sale.. Have sent you a PM..

My son and I went over the pins on the connector with an OScope and it looks like a doable project..

vince built a chip for me: pull the igt arm and it bets 3 ,spins and stops all automaticly.so he should be able to set you up with no problem.
