Just got my Fire Express!

Milt had this one listed at $80 in the scratch and Dent area so I didn't want to pass it up. I know some people think this game is the pits, but I actually really like it. It's just such a nice looking machine. The sound quality is a little iffy, but the sounds themselves aren't bad. The dot matrix display animations are really nice, probably the best I've seen on any machine. The gameplay is pretty standard but can get a little exciting when the DMD starts throwing animated sevens at you (which is like the 'chance' indicator, I guess). The rainbow lights on top of the reels are also a nice touch. Definitely worth what I paid, I believe.

I couldn't agree more! I dearly love my King Camel, Tulsa got one and he didn't care as much for it.

Exactly, what ever you like, I bought a Crazy Shamen for my mon with LCD. I thought it was cool nice theme, but she can't figure out the payout so does not win = does not play. She has really bad eyesight. I am looking for a cheap 'simple' non lcd, no tricks or skill required for payout round, with large bright reels, maybe an autostop added, and maybe an arm, for the old school effect.
I would then reclaim the Shamen.

I love the look of Fire Express but I've never played one. How's the attract mode?

The Dot matrix display animations during attract mode are pretty cool, and the rainbow like lights above the reels are very beautiful, as long as the lights in the room are off.

Thanks I have seem the Automatic, never played, Never seen nor played fruit ful. looking for 'americanized' also mom does not like Japanese.
