From what I can gather from the news report, someone or someones parlor got caught tampering with the machines. Hopefully someone can translate what the reporter is saying so I (we) can get a better idea of what's happening!!!

We get this in the UK, 'bootleg' Fruit Machine ROMs, normally found in 'fairgrounds' operated by *ahem* 'travellers'.

Mind you, seeing how the Japanese economy seems to be based on Pachinko / Pachislo, I can see why this is quite big news.
