Email them and find out how long it will take. I've never received one in less than 3 weeks. (But, the wait has been worth it.) Brenda and her crew are nice people and will work hard to please you and send out a quality product. But, they are slow.

As you can see above in the posts, the vendor took the time to stop in here at PachiTalk... both to OPENLY explain delays and to make things right. It even got the title of the thread changed from something that was negative at first.

It seems like she's the kind of person that will work with you.
You should give her a call.

If only MORE vendors would stop by and do what she did... what a wonderful PachiLand this would be.

Although I think you are right about the lead time being too long, insults are not the way to go. I ordered three of the cabs off of ebay and it took a very long time to come and I tried to call and all I got was a voice mail. No answers to emails, no answers to phone calls, no cabs, and no balls. I thought.
Well the three cabs showed up after I had to go back on board my ship almost a month after I ordered them. I am glad that I had someone here to accept them. I still had not received the balls. My sister opened them and then sent an email (using ebay) to the seller asking where the balls were. ....then a few weeks later again and finally an email saying that she was going to recommend that I do a charge back. Only then did the tracking # for the balls show up in my in-box.
The reason I ordered them from this seller was that she was a pachitalk member and several members said that they were very well made. I will not order any more from her. The wood is plywood (hardwood) and most of the outside surfaces are good but, I have been sanding the router worked edges and filling holes for several days. There is no bottom piece so you would have to put them on some sort of stand. You could not hang them on the wall.
I'll build my next ones myself.
I think that this seller has issues ( lots of excuses no action) that need to be worked out before I would recommend anyone ordering.

Yeh, I hear ya. I read almost all of the posts before ordering. It sounded like they got their act together back in the spring. For those that haven't purchased much on the internet....it is standard practice that anything ordered should ship in no less that seven days UNLESS POSTED OTHERWISE! If they truly don't ship for a month than ANYONE who orders is misled. It's like assuming....well never mind, you get my point I will let everyone know of the outcome...rest assured.

you are assuming a pre manufactured product that is in stock.
if someone is making them per order (smaller businesses) then it is safe to assume that the 5 - 7 wont be possible.

My USA customers don't allow me to (nor would I do it) take their money in a sale that doesn't specify "each unit is custom made" or "please allow 30 days before shipping" so I'M certainly not going to be misled either...not without makin a stink!

so 5 types of hardware and 11 colors.

makes for 55 possible choices for a cabinet.

dont think they make 55 cabinets in hopes that someone will pick the orange one with chrome handle and they can have it in stock..

of course they do say

"The painted version will be painted with a high quality latex paint to your specifications. In one of our custom colors, these cabinets will arrive in ready to use condition with a high quality durable finish that will last a lifetime!!! And of course your choice of hardware. "

Good luck, Pat98. Personally, you probably are better off cancelling if it hasn't been shipped at this point. It is not going to get to you quickly. These people run a very small business out of their home. And, they are slow -- If you've read this thread, as I am sure you have, you know that.

Cancel it and build yourself -- you'll be happier.

I just ordered them on Friday pm and it's Monday am. I plan on calling today. Dattia, I have read EVERY thread on DIY cases...my saw is ready to rip!

I under stand Pats frustration, if it is not fully stated about the lead time for the order to be processed and shipped. I am chronically impatient, once I decide on getting something I want it NOW.
I make custom cabinets and it is difficult for me to estimate when an order can be completed, Custom work is that way normally and shop time is not always available. Things go wrong, Wood can warp after purchase and needs to be replaced.
I do go by the credo to be as nice as possible to other members here in the pachi community, extend as much courtesy as possible, whenever possible.
Go ahead cancell your order, and make your own, see what it takes to create one. It is a good feeling to do it yourself, as long as it turns out OK.

Just a friendly word of advice, try to read it for what its worth, and don't attempt to defend your position, I already apprecite it.
Try to be nice to members here, bite your typing finger if you have to. The admins do not like members to flame others here. I would hate your account to disappear you have shared with us a useful tip on straightening out wobbly reels.
