    Pretty interesting. I don't live in the US, I live in England (UK), and arcades a dying out too. I simply adore arcade machines yet there are hardly any around. Sad, but true. One day I'd like to visit Japan one day, with all the noise, lights and sound of coins hitting the tray. Amazing!

    They have taken a nose dive in Japan too though. At the moment, the three largest arcade/game center providers are Sega, Namco, and Taito whereas, about ten years ago, there were about a dozen. The gaming market has really been changing and evolving and you can expect companies to follow Nintendo's lead by marketing to non-gamers, as they have done with their "Touch Generation" series games on the Nintendo DS. Without this sort of approach, you can almost guess that industry will experience a major slump.
