Default Cleaning my Star Wars shooter wheel.

Well I finally took delivery of my Star Wars pachinko, and very happy with it I am too! Looks like I'm going to have a lot of fun with this machine.

One thing; though the rest of the machine was in really excellent condition with hardly any visible marks, the shooter wheel is looking a bit grubby and has a few little scratches in it (it looks a lot worse in the picture than it does in real life). I think I can polish out most of the scratches, but can anyone recommend something to use on the stains? I'm not really sure what the stains are exactly, probably general dirt and sweat! Picture below:

Is that an American cleaning product? I don't think I've heard of it in the UK.

one screw holds the shootering wheel in (on the bottom)
one connector to unplug on the back (a piece of clear tape holds it down to the side of the board case)
tie a string at the end of the connector before you pull it through to the front. cut and leave the string in place to do a reverse order.
shooter in hand, look at the back and you will see three screws, one alone and two close together, remove them.
    REMEMBER TO ALWAY TAKE PICTURES
the white knob will come off, but so will all the rest so be careful or you lose your rewind spring or bushings. MARK MY WORDS
with the white knob in hand you can clen and polish out all the crap and scratch out, the cracks will stay there.
than reverse this order to put together. use the string to gently pull the connector thru and plug in and REPLACE THE TAPE or you will cut the wire closing the machine on it. screw in the one screw tight BUT DON'T OVER TIGHTIN.

THIS IS WHAT I DO TO EVERY MACHINE

Luckily enough.......ours isn't in that condition - however thanks Arby - at least we now know how to take it to bits and get it back together again!

I'd try Novus. It comes in three flavors I, II, and III. You can easily get this on eBay but I'm not sure if it's available in the UK or not?
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Any specific type of Cillit Bang? Looks like there are five different versions on that website.
