    Question Question about token hopper..

    Hi all.
Do pachislo machines keep count of exactly how many tokens are in the hopper? I`ve had bonus rounds on my Gundam before that have emptied the hopper completely. Is this normal?
On my UK fruit machine, you can refill it and it counts each coin as it goes in so you know exactly how much is in the hoppers. Do pachislos do the same, Or do you just have to top up the hopper every now and again?
    Thanks.

While your UK machine (my speciality ) may know how many coins are in your hopper(s), this is only because the hopper float is set correctly - and hopper level is not allowed to influence the payout percentage in any way.

Same is the case with Pachislo / Pachinko. Your machine may basically be very low on tokens / balls, but if the machine owes a payout, it'll at least attempt to pay it - on Pachislo you'll get a Hopper Empty alarm, on Pachinko you'll no doubt get some form of alarm on the display. All the tokens / balls owed will be paid out when the machine is refilled (I believe).

Tokens in / out are metered (mechanical meters which click when tokens are played / won) though
