Credit / Cash Mode?

Hi, I'm sort of new to pachislos/pachinkos.
I understand that from reading other posts that you can place a pachislo in a cash or credit mode. I currently own a Thunderbirds Pachislo, and I can only seem to play it in cred it mode. Once the credit is over 50, it just starts to pay out in the coin tray, and even if i insert 3 tokens and the credit meter is 0 is still pays out into credit!!

There is a small button that when you press empties out all the credit into the coin tray, but it does not seem to change it into cash mode.

Help please?

I don't think the newer machines have both modes, but on my Wai Wai pulsar, if you hold the button that empties the credits for about 5 seconds the machines toggles between cash and credit modes.

The newer machines are credit only, just keep 50 tokens in and add 3 every spin and you will get payouts each time.

I use credit only on all of mine.
