So I played my Sinbad tonight and I noticed that 2 of the new LEDs I installed were not working after what is it now... 2 yrs?

Anyway it was the center reel the 2 center leds. Luckily I had built an extra board and installed it and all is well. However I want to fix the broken led board. I looked up the page where I previously purchased these pirhana WHPIR leds and they arent sold there anymore.

Does anyone know where to located these leds in the US now-a-days?

I just repaired my boards again about a month ago and ordered 100 of the Leds from Quickar they seem to have them in stock.

Not sure what happened as the Leds were just fine then one day the center reel 2 center Leds were out !

Either one or both of the Leds were bad or I did not install them as good as I should have. Since my original repair I have learned that nothing beats a temperature controlled soldering station with a vacuum de-soldering station.

I just had yet another row of these Pirhana LEDs go bad. I had just moved the machine and when i plugged it back in I didnt seat the plug in the socket well. The machine was going on and off a few times very quick. Then I noticed I lost the right bottom row of LEDs. Seems to me that these things burn out at power up when they 1st get hit by the electric. Maybe someone who knows more about electronics can explain this better.

I have a Beast Sapp and a Sinbad Adventure that need the reel LEDs replaced. The threads showing how to fix them and where to get parts are 10 years old and the links are bad. Any suggestions???

I responded in the other thread you started. If you follow the link I posted above, you just need to wait for the redirect and scroll down the page to find them.

To save you (and others) the hassle of having to wait for the ~ 10 sec. redirect, the new link is here => https://www.moreleds.com/superflux.htm
