Question Translation or help with error

Sometimes, on my Yamasa Neo Magic Pulsar, if I feed coins in too fast the machine will get an error. Can someone translate this El Vision screen?

Better yet, does anyone know how to fix this problem? I got this machine a while ago from Stealth on a weekly special, so if I need parts I'll have to either buy parts or live with the problem.

Here is a picture of the El Vision screen when I get the error.

I get that same error on the screen when my machine is turned off for a few days. Don't you love that error music though.

The lower message says "Selector Error" but , fear not!!, the upper one tells you how to take care of it:

    "Call a parlor attendant"

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

Anyone know exactly what to clean on this Yamasa machine?
It looks like the coins travel under a magnet (?) device that controls the
gate that either lets coins to the hopper or out to the front tray.

Here is a picture I took a while ago to help someone who was having
trouble with the spring on top of the gate.

The magnet looking device is a proximity sensor it senses when something metal passes. if the token pauses while traveling under this sensor it will generate an error. open the door and watch the slotted bar while you cycle the power it should pop out when machine is off dropping tokens into tray instead of the hopper. turn back on and feed some tokens they should not hesitate or stick while going through the coin counter, any sticky residue (pop, candy, etc) on the coins will build up on the chrome surface, clean the chrome spotless and there should not be a problem.
Oh if kids play the machine check for sticky coins, sticky fingers equals sticky slots!

Thanks. When I got the machine I did have to remove and clean the slotted piece and put the spring back on. The slotted piece was sticking and not clicking in and out when I started / stopped the reels.

I'll have to find a way to clean behind the metal sensor without taking it out of the machine.

Try card stock, you can access the coin path from the right on your machine,
Card stock is thick paper used for printing ... cards, I use it to 'sweep' printer paper paths because it is much thicker than regular paper it picks up residue left by the printing process, a little alcohol on it might do the trick but I have not tried it myself. too much will make the paper loose and could create a bigger mess.

The lottery uses heavy card stock with alcohol on it to clean the lottery ticket reader. We used the same thing with cleaning credit card readers.

I use alcohol on a q-tip to clean old video game cartridges.

Thanks again everyone. I cleaned everything the coins touch (or pass through) on thier way to the hopper. It didn't look dirty, but some windex and qtips/rags proved otherwise! It was filthy. Now the coins flow right in and no errors. (knocking on wood ...........)

Also, I had the problem with the coin flakes causing the Elvision to stop working. A can of compressed air to the unplugged connectors fixed that easily. Now I want to come up with some sort of way to shield those connectors so it doesnt happen again.

I use alcohol prep pads for cleaning damn near everything. You can get them by the box from the drug store (CVS, Walgreens, etc.). They are used for preparing the skin for an injection (like insulin). Keep your eyes open the next time you are at the doctor's office (or go to CVS). Just fold the little 1"x1" pads in half and they will be thicker than card stock.
