    Default Time Cross Error

I have a Time Cross machine that resets itself after stopping the first reel no matter which reel is stopped first. It looks like the power was turned off for a brief second as the first reel darkens. The LCD screen at the same time goes back to the Yamasa credit screen. When the second reel stops spinning and the third, there are no problems. While in the end the payout is right based on all three reels, it is annoying that it keeps resetting. What could be the problem? Thanks.

most of the time it's a poor connection somewhere, shut off the power and reseat all your connections.

Does this machine have a transformer in it?
If so, it may not be big enough, or on it's way out.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

i would check the transformer or power supply it sounds like its under powered and breaking down ..... feel the transformer is it hot be careful not to burn yourself while doing so ,also i wouldnt ground yourself either (like holding the door ) .....

I reset the connections and I am still having this problem. The transformer came with the machine from a PP eBay auction. It is warm to the touch, not hot.

is this machine under warranty if so contact them for assistance ,what size is it if its below 5 amp change it out .I'd change it anyway cause its probably your problem .you can get a quality replacement transformer from gaku or milt just make sure you put it in the right way or we'll be calling you "Sparky Jounior"..... I'm off to myrtle beach for 2 weeks will try to get on the board while down there if not everyone take easy till i get back !!!!

Tornado, if you bought from PP, give them a call or drop them an email. They will take care of you....they provide great service. Since you've checked all connections (and this really is THE major cause of problems after being shipped), it could very well be a bad component. PP will send you the part and talk you through the install.

It may have a bad card that controls the spin/stop function. Usually it's located on the upper right hand side. just a guess

Thanks all for your help. I got a replacement transformer from PP and experienced the same problem. Turns out that PP's 5 amp transformer isn't enough power for the machine. I tried a 6 amp transformer from a Stealth machine and the problem was solved. I guess the reels plus the LCD screen need at least 6 amps. Thanks again.
