Power supply question

I picked up a power supply today. It's 9V @ 500 MA. it only has two wires. Which do I hook them up to? My pachinko has the regular BLACK...WHITE...RED wires on back. Its a SANKYO model.

Unload the machine of balls(pay off) Then hook solid black from trans. to solid black on machine,,,,,,try each red or white to see if payoff out light comes on

I used 9 volt 200 MA transformers for mine hooked up to a switched outlet, so the transformers don't stay on all of the time. I also replace the missing or burned out bulbs with LED's from Radio Shack.

Red is normally the plus side and black or white the negative, but I have seen them wired all kinds of ways with different color wires. You need to just keep hooking it up and try it if the wires are different.

This is the hook up for a transformer if you still want to use a battery
instead of reading transformer read battery supply

Put a switch on the plug side (115 volt USA)

Wiring as follows color of wire not important it is powering a lamp
One wire from the transformer goes to the fuse
Split into two wires after the fuse first one for ball tray lamp second for jackpot lamp
Other transformer wire is return for both micro switches

1st wire from fuse goes to the tray lamp after lamp wire to micro switch after micro switch wire goes to other wire of transformer. (Return)

2nd wire from fuse goes to the lamp in the middle of playfield after lamp wire goes to other micro switch close to the bottom after micro switch wire goes to the other wire of transformer (Return).

Now check micro switch under ball tray push metal lever down and if you hear a light click power is off (light off)
