I'm poking around for info on replacements right now, one interesting find: this is the same lcd they used in those lcd PS1 screens you could clip on for travel

Well I discovered that the third machine has the same lcd screen in it.
Swapped them and it's still blue. Well at least I now know that the screen is good.SO I guess it's the controller. Oh well, like Tori said, "blue is pretty."

That is a good way to look at it, especially since the odds of me finding the right control board are gonna be nil. Well at least I got two perfect working machines out of the three and the third is "enhanced".
