Got to touch a Star Wars, bought a Sakura

I now join the fine ranks of Pachitalk Owner Operators (you doo the math) and former Pachislo Fanatics who have purchased a modern Pachinko (though I haven't yet played more than a couple minutes on it).

I purchased Sakura directly for CDN$150 from a very nice dealer in Toronto, David Hsieh of Imatrix Trading (they sell on eBay too). I thought it was a good deal.

In any case I spied a lone Star Wars in the back and asked about it. Sorry they were all sold out (it was the last one being packed up I think), how much did they sell for? CDN $700 each I was told. Ouch! (Mind you, even $700 for what goes into a Pachinko is cheap, but it's all relative, and it wasn't an Arby machine.) So for nothing I got to touch it, though they wouldn't fire it up for me...probably the closest I'll ever get to one.

I just got back from another local dealer who just sold their one and only Star Wars for CDN$500!

They have a Popeye with the large, large video screen for CDN$1000 - it was a pretty funky looking machine.
