Default IGT American Haywire slot Help?

Does anyone know of a Slot tech that I can contact ? Im trying to fix an error code 21 with a tilt on my Haywire but the vendor is of no use and it seems that unless you buy from a vendor they wont help. I know I could just buy lots of replacement parts and see if that fixes it but that would be a waste of what little bucks I have buying parts that might not need replacing. Its tough being in a city where American slotmachines are nowhere to be found much less anyone that can work on them or at least supply some tech help. I even tried contacting IGT direct but no luck with any help from them unless I am a Casino or employee of a casino. Just another area where Pachislos rock!!!!! There is no real Pachitalk for American slot machines. I am using a similar but very lacking web forum called slot tech but its really just a small part of a general info forum and the problem I have can be fixed much easier by a person on the phone. Anyway guys if you know of someone let me know thx. I really have to once again thank Tulsa, and all of the administraitors for this invaluable Money and Time saving site 3 thousand cheers and a big salute!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe an error code 21 refers to a problem with the coin in. If I remember correctly that the Haywire is an S+ machine. Several dealers have info online. Try this one. http://slotsdirect.com/spluserrors.html

Or if you haven't done so yet try downloading the free manual here. http://www.mdslots.net/

Yes the Error 21 code is a coin in prob and I have done everything to correct it without any luck . Thx for the link page but I already have that info. I also have the Tech manual from IGT, I downloaded it when I bought the machine. Had to think ahead if you know what I mean. I pretty much have exhausted all available online info and all vendors for their support but they just tell me to send in parts for testing and replacement When they do want to talk to a non customer of theirs! Only thing is that once in awhile the machine resets for about 2 mins and everything functions perfectly so I know that most parts if not all are working and that it is probably just some small item that is corrupt. The manuals dont deal with problems like that of course LOL
Thx again so much for taking the time to find and post the links

Eddie, are you using a CC16 coin comparitor w/cod board and prism or a micro comparitor thats all in one? I'm a Vendor tech for Bally's and I have many friends that work for IGT. We will get you fixed up. no worries. PM me later.

does it take coin then go into the tilt? does it just go into the tilt on its own. List of things it could be. Coin Comp. COD board, prism, CC harness, or CPU board. Try cleaning cc and prism first w/alchol no windex. I'll track down some parts.

    Eddie,
any progress? I can get you a CC16 to swap and we can see if that fixes it. We switched over to coinless games last year. Ticket in Ticket out. So coin in parts are getting hard to comeby. I still have some older games that still have those parts left over so let me know what you want to do.

Eddie, I should have that board in a few days. When I get it I'll send you a PM and get your shipping address. If I'm unable to get the IGT Board I have the Bally s6000 equivlent that should work also. I'll let you know.

Thx so much ! If you can see I have solved the problem in the post IGT American Hayire follow up. IF you can come across a new coin in harness Ill buy it from you. or Any button bulbs. I rather not deal with these vendors anymore If I can help it. I never got one bit of advice or returned calls after speaking with their "service " guys. Never got emails answered either! I can understand that a little from the vendors that I didnt buy the machine from but not the vendor that I did buy the machine from! I wonder why the vendors turn away parts customers? Very weird.

Eddie check out this message board (if you haven't already) :

    http://www.voy.com/56616/

They seem to have a few machine owners on there that seem to be very helpful as far as USA Slots go.
