Paypal fake email

Just a word of caution ther are fake paypal emails going out saying you added a new email address to your account. These emails do not come from paypal and do not click on the links in them and definatly do not give them any information. Here is a copy of the one I got.

You've added an additional email address to your PayPal account.

If you don`t agree with this email al_merq2003@yahoo.com and if you need
assistance with your account, please Click here to login to your account.

To make sure you can use your PayPal account the next time you make
a purchase, all you need to do is confirm or not your email address.
If your email program has problems with hypertext links, you may also
confirm your email address by logging in to your account at:

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=login

always log on to your paypal account thru ebay or your direct link, never thru emails, the same goes for any Ebay messages thru your email.

Paypal (as with some other accounts) will usually address you by name (Dear John Smith, etc...). Any email you get that doesn't come this way is suspect.

I recently changed the email address that Ebay stuff is sent to and spoofs are still coming to me (obvious fakes).
