Ace hardware has a golf club that the head is a magnet. $4 range, you can pick up your balls and practice your swing. Not one tool, but two, two tools in one, thats multi-tasking.

Here is the one I got, but the web site is under construction

Here is something I bought and it comes in handy.
I don't like to get down on my knees & pick up balls.

    http://www.thingsmagnetic.com/magnetic/sw9.html

This "long-reach retrieval tool" is ideal for picking up items from under your work area.

Angled handle allows reach under machinery or furniture
    Comfortable ergonomic grip
    Permanent magnet
    Non-corrosive aluminum construction

You never heard of scrubbing bubbles? The little guys running all over your bathroom and spinning around your toilet?

Never seen them, well I am in the heart of river city. The last City meeting, they talked of not rolling up the sidewalk till after 7:00 pm.

MagnaView Fluid is a colloidal suspension of microscopic, individual magnets in a liquid carrier.

The MagnaView Fluid and the sculptures at the bottom are very rad.

As for the super magnets, I've played with big magnets before, fun but scary.

Another amazing and useful site from Sid! Thanks! I particularly enjoyed the Wired article on chemistry education that's linked from their home page.

Magnetic pickup tool with release- $9.99
Got one and tried it out here in the truck (gotta do/buy something pachi-related every day!), works great! Will pick up 25lbs, that's a lotta balls!
Old thread but a handy tool to have around for those balls that get away due to various reasons. I picked one up last week and it only went up $1 in twelve years

Thought I'd share with our many newer members.

Or you could always get one from a Yahoo! Japan Auction for a lot more.

I still have an old magnet from a microwave transmitter. Works pretty good sweeping the driveway for nails and random chunks of metal.
