I have been to the Englishtown guys store. The business is called Slot King and Slot King II. He is inside the brown building in stalls #BR 41-43 and BR 25-26. His prices are high compared to Milt's, but you save the freight and you can play everything and take it home when you are ready. That is worth something. I am very surprised that he is allowed such a big display store in New Jersey since there was an issue with selling them two years ago at Christmas time and local vendors such as Central Jersey Pools had to ship their inventory to their Pennsylvania store.

    Hi all,

Just spent about a half hour marking and drilling holes in my pachislo for my igt slot handle. It's a no go. In fact, I can't see how this would work for any pachislo. The side panel on the machine has to be at most a 1/4 inch thick. Both my machines are 3/4 MDF. The IGT handle I got will not work on a pachislo. Now I have a bunch of holes to fill. PLEASE CHECK YOUR MACHINE BEFORE YOU STAR DRILLING!!! Sorry to yell, I'm pretty pissed.

Not to worry, I can recoup my loss by selling the arm back on ebay. And you right, I was replacing the cheap arm I bought just to have a ratcheting arm...when you think of it, the machine does look better without an arm. Some putty and paint...It will look good as new.

i just checked the dimensions on my machine (elco hanabi hykkei ) and the plywood is 1/2 " thick the handle has a shaft that extends the same 1/2" distance with the exterior plate on the outside of the machine it adds 1/8" to the thickness the only thing you need to do is use longer bolts to mount the base and then use a dremil to extend the holes in the plastic hub covering the arm still an easy installation . mount the plate and base assy then install the handle with out the plastic hub should work perfectly , then extend the holes in the hub to allow it to fit . a heck of a lot easier than plastic wood and a new paint job and one heck of a site better than that first handle you bought !!!!

heres the pics to prove it can be done .....

I bought 2 handles and installed one. Yes, the mdf is too thick for installing with all the parts.

I drilled one 2 1/8" hole, put hot glue on the unit and installed it. I did not use any bolts or the outside hardware. I also had to trim the hopper a little to get clearance. I still need to touch up the outside paint a little.
I programmed a new autostop mod for this that takes the new bandit arm as an input, then pulses the max bet button and then pulses the spin knob. Now all I have to do is pull the arm, no more need to hit the max bet button!

I probably will only install a few of these bandit arms. Not sure it is worth the trouble. I think I will put one on my Super BlackJack though. It will then look like the ones on the game's LCD screen.

Buy a Spin Luck, it has the ratcheting sound already built in.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. To repair the side of your machine go to Home Depot or Lowes and pick up some laminate and adhesive and redo the sides and top. It will look good as new.

I received my slot handle also a few days ago. I have not installed yet. I new by looking at it this was going to be a challenge.

It's odd you would mention Laminate...That is a product that has elluded me for almost a year now. I have another project I am working on...and I need black laminate (not mica) that can make a bend around a curved surface. I know it exists, but every store, website that I have been to does not have what I am looking for. I've search for Laminate, plastic sheet, vynal sheeting..etc. I am at a loss for this product.

If anyone knows where to buy this (Thin plastic veneer that attatches with contact cement), please put in your two cents worth.

    Thanks for any help.

    Horray!

Please excuse me While I go place my order.

It's on it's way...I will have enough left over to do my Star Blazers and Gamera High Vision. Awesome.

PS...Anyone want to buy an IGT Handle assembly? 15.00 + 9.00 shipping (the same I paid on Ebay).

Pachinko Palace does not use this vinyl they use thin sheet formica. Which is a big difference.

this stuff is what they use. its not decal material, but very thin formica. nice thing is it cuts cleanly with a razor.

for those who say it cant be done i took off the gold handle unit and mounted the newer style chrome unit . the pics are below .

    http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...1/DSCF0045.jpg
    http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...1/cda0b461.jpg

these are with all the hardware installed .to install the chrome plastic hub flip it over and you'll see they already elongated one of the handle holes my suggestion is to elongate them to the side and slide the cap on and use your hot glue there instead of mounting the base with it but thats my preference.

    http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...1/DSCF0046.jpg

this is a mod for personal preference if i were to do this on a machine to sell it would be a $80.00 upgrade and probably would sell a few more machines as most people in the real world are not purists and tend to like there handles and also their quarters .....Also this mod probably isn't for the person that wouldn't think of doing any bathroom remodeling on their own .... some cabinets are bound to be different (side thickness transformer location and such ) take some unitive and relocate the transformer or anything else to make it work for you just as you would a new faucet in the kitchen sink (try to tell your wife it wont work.....) theres always a way to do it if you want it done....

if you cant get it to work yougjedi i'll buy the handle from you for 15 bucks as stated . I'll use it on another machine that i can make it work on (dremils are the best tools ever invented), but you pay the shipping !!!
