Default A Crazy Way to greet people....

Durring my four day drive to and from New York last week, my friend and I came up with a doorbell idea. MP3 player inside the doorbell. After thinking about it...I would like to take it a step further.

Is it possible to lock in 50 credits into a pachislo? If I hang it on the wall, and wire it to the doorbell, anytime someone come to the door and presses the button, the slot machine would play. I have an autostop in the slot.

Does this sound Crazy? I like the idea.

actually it is possible to do this . the version i have of the auto stop has a auto spin feature that when the machine is not played loads 3 credits and spins the machine sort of like an attract mode . well i didn't like it so i disconnected the spin wire and found the auto stop still kept loading 3 credits every few min till it reached 50 and it armed the machine for a spin just didn't spin cause i pulled that wire but if you were to add a relay to it and have the door bell activate the relay the machine would then spin the machine without your intervention.I also found the feature was very convenient because every time i goto play the machine its always loaded with 50 credits and ready to go ......

It's a fun idea...but I decided not to do it. Hooking it up would be the easy part, but there are two thoughts I don't like about it. One, I don't want the Machine on 24/7...too risky. and two, If someone does hit the big bunus, I have to either reset the machine, or spend 20 minutes out in the rain ringing the doorbell to play it through. My neighbors might think I'm nuts.

I think I will just hook it up to the toaster and when I get a win, I get toast. OOOOH...or maybe the toilet...every poop can be a gambling experience.

    Thanks for all you input.
